As a Sales Operations Manager, people-leader, this position will be responsible for supporting the Sales Operations Director with the sales operations process strategy and managing the team of Sales Operations Analysts. The sales operations process pillar develops and manages the end-to-end commercial flows [revenue generating activities from prospecting to payout] that enable the 84.51° Sales Team [sales and account management], particularly within Salesforce. The successful manager will need to collaborate effectively with internal end-users and cross-functional teams to solve problems and implement new ways of working solutions. This role will help drive greater efficiency and effectiveness of 84.51°’s Sales Team and key stakeholders [finance, marketing, business systems / platforms product and engineering].

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversight of the G2 Sales Ops Analysts, who work shoulder-to-shoulder with the Sales and Account Mgmt team for each vertical
  • Day-to-day strategic operations of the commercial sales process [main stakeholder: KPM Sales, sellers and account managers]
  • Business facilitator and lead for Salesforce optimization, liaises with product and engineering  
  • Influence the strategic direction of Salesforce for adoption, efficiency, enablement, training, development, and innovation
  • Support the needs of the sales team by leveraging workflows to provide efficiency gains to stakeholders and increase revenue to the bottom line
  • Define key performance metrics, partner with Sales Reporting & Analytics Manager to define Salesforce reports and dashboards
  • Influence with subject matter expertise in commercial process; facilitating processes between product, finance, accounting, sales, marketing, and engineering
  • Business partner stakeholder management: Translator and Facilitator across crossfunctional teams, aligning business needs to outcomes
  • Strategic ideation for commercializing products for success in the commercial pipelines
  • Effective time & project management, delivery of consistently high standard of work and ensuring deadlines are met, operational hurdles are understood, and insights are delivered in an actionable format
  • Memorialize best practices across team, department and function

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in Sales Operations or similar role
  • 5+ years’ experience as a people-leader
  • Solid functional understanding of Salesforce CRM
  • Solid functional understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, people, and diplomacy skills are required
  • Initiative, strong critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment
  • Ability to make recommendations and own process improvement and innovation ideas

  • The stated salary range represents the entire span applicable across all geographic markets from lowest to highest.  Actual salary offers will be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data and cost of labor. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for variable compensation.
