If you Google Tiffany Shlain today, you’ll see she has quite the list of accomplishments. But even she had to start somewhere. When she was in her early 20s, she spent four years producing a motion picture that ultimately flopped.
From that failure and others, she developed a 10-stage creative process. And in this video, she talks through these stages—and how to tackle each one.
To finish your project (and to finish it well), you’ll have to trudge through the tough parts. But remember: Don’t focus on just getting to the end. Embrace each part of the process—after all, often the journey ends up being the most rewarding.
