As a perfectionist myself, I know the struggle to always submit flawless work is real. I can’t be the only person who beats myself up over minor mistakes.

But, even though I know I’m too hard on myself, I still think striving for perfection’s a smart career strategy. In fact, I’m learning that it’s all about balance. The trick is making sure that the goals you’re setting for yourself are realistic. If you know exactly what I’m talking about, you’ll probably identify with the infographic below.
