Job Description:

The Role

Are you ready to lead and inspire a team of exceptional engineers? As a Senior Manager, Engineering at Fidelity Investments, you will play a critical role in driving technology excellence, operational efficiency, and high-quality delivery. You will lead the development of innovative solutions that power the future of investment performance measurement platforms, while fostering a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Join us in shaping the next generation of financial technology and delivering world-class client experiences.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

You have over 10 years of experience delivering software in agile, cloud-focused environments. You have a solid grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes. Your expertise includes object-oriented software development, large-scale data processing and management through batch-oriented systems, and the design and development of scalable RESTful APIs and robust backend services. You have successfully designed and delivered data-intensive, cloud solutions that meet demanding standards for scalability, performance, security, and reliability. Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in investment performance measurement and analytics, is highly preferred.

Your leadership skills are unparalleled, having led and mentored multi-disciplinary teams across software engineering, test automation, systems analysis, and delivery. You possess strong knowledge of engineering principles, build patterns, and guidelines, and are committed to continuous learning and improvement. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills have facilitated seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams, effectively troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.

You have a proven track record in managing collaborators, reducing risks, and advancing agile approaches. Your direct participation in code reviews, technical mentoring, and improving processes distinguishes you as a committed leader who promotes a culture of learning, inclusion, and career growth.

The Team

Driven by innovation and a strong commitment to our clients, our team fosters a culture of continuous learning, growth, and mobility to stay at the forefront of the industry. We own and support one of the largest EMR implementations in the business, leveraging modern technologies, cloud-native platforms, and data-driven engineering practices to deliver scalable solutions. As a Senior Manager, Engineering, you will join a high-performing organization that excels at delivering complex, cross-functional solutions and partnering closely with business leaders to align priorities, define strategy, and execute shared roadmaps.
