About the teamAs a Senior Software Development Engineer (iOS) on the 3D Home Capture team, you'll join a collaborative group dedicated to empowering photographers to efficiently capture, manage, and deliver the high-quality media assets and data that power Zillow's 3D tours, floor plans, and SkyTours. This team makes Zillow's listings more interactive and visually engaging, directly supporting Zillow's mission to redefine the home shopping journey and help users make confident decisions.
Home Capture is a cross-platform team inventing new ways to capture dense data. How do you accurately map an entire home using only the device in your pocket? Our technology now generates dimensionally accurate, interactive floor plans from phone sensors alone. Producing them is hard; producing them at scale is a separate problem. We work with partner teams across imaging pipelines, machine learning, computer vision, and low-level phone sensor data such as LiDAR, and we integrate data from 360 cameras and drones.
About the roleAs a Senior Software Development Engineer (iOS), you'll own features end to end on the app photographers use in the field every day. You'll design and ship components of the capture experience, partner with backend, Android, design, product, and ML engineers to deliver a coherent product, and contribute to the architectural decisions that shape how the app scales. Your work reaches the listings that millions of home shoppers browse.
