Monetization Legal supports TikTok's global advertising business across the full lifecycle, from product development and engineering to go-to-market, advertising sales, and commercial transactions. We work with product and engineering teams to build the future of advertising on TikTok, developing new ad formats, technologies, and commercial models for advertisers, creators, and users. We also advise on complex advertising, privacy, and consumer-protection requirements across markets, and partner with sales, operations, and partnerships teams to structure and expedite strategic transactions. You will help turn ambitious commercial ideas into responsible, scalable products and partnerships that work for the business, comply with evolving regulations, and earn the trust of users and customers.

About the team
CRS is dedicated to providing strategic and pragmatic end-to-end compliance advice and solutions to the ads business. We work at the intersection of law, technology, and business, ensuring that our innovative products comply with global regulations while driving sustainable growth.

The team evaluates new features and monetization models, manages regulatory risks, and strives to ensure global compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This role requires a balance of business acumen, compliance by design mindset and strong business analysis and project management skills to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.

Our focus includes understanding the regulatory environment and converting those requirements, in partnership with our monetisation legal colleagues, to ensure our product and integrity solutions and systems are compliant, while balancing the need to grow in a healthy, sustainable and efficient manner.

We are also considered to be the front line compliance team with responsibility not only for implementation of compliant solutions, but also for audit readiness (and execution) and ongoing compliance assurance.
As a Compliance Readiness and Solutions specialist within the team, you will serve as a partner to our legal, compliance and business teams (sales, product, engineering) focusing on content moderation and integrity, and ad product compliance. This is a critical hands-on role responsible for ensuring our products comply with all applicable regulations, building robust compliance frameworks from the ground up. You will work with a diverse set of stakeholders often with competing priorities to drive initiatives which improve our compliance maturity. You will work on projects which require product development lifecycle awareness, an ability to determine product and compliance requirements to meet a new regulation, focus on identifying risks and influencing the business to mitigate them over time.

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent program and stakeholder management skills. You partner with and can influence stakeholders at different levels to drive alignment across cultures, timezones and teams to deliver successful programs. You are highly resilient, self-motivated, and are comfortable taking full ownership of outcomes. You can see and focus on the big picture and influence others to meet critical regulatory goals. You're entrepreneurial and passionate about building solutions that scale.

This is a full-time position based in Singapore. The role is 5 days on-site with expectation to travel to other offices as needed.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our products meet global regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Regulatory Advisory: Monitor global regulatory landscapes and provide actionable insights to mitigate risks for our ad products. Support the translation of regulatory requirements to product, process, policy and operational teams.
- End-to-End Delivery: Lead compliance projects from inception to launch, aligning legal, product, engineering, and operations teams, exhibiting a high degree of ownership.
- Operational Excellence: Analyze and redesign processes to embed compliance-by-design, while setting up governance and metrics to measure success.
- Stakeholder Communication: Clearly report on compliance risks, initiatives, and progress to leadership and cross-functional partners. You will collaborate closely with compliance, policy, GR, risk, legal, internal audit, integrity, technical and operational teams in a high growth fast paced, often ambiguous environment.
- Transparency & Assurance: Coordinate responses to regulatory RFIs, conduct robust risk assessments, meet transparency reporting deadlines, and prepare for both internal and external audits.
- Risk management: Perform risk assessments at a product, process, platform, or regulation level to identify key gaps and opportunities, align on priorities and ensure strong governance over decision making
- Continuous improvement: Support process improvement to optimise how we work and mature the regulatory compliance operation within Integrity
