Apple's Instructional Products team helps people discover what their Apple products can do and how to use them. We create the Tips app, user guides, and instructional content that reaches millions of users. Your ideas will shape how users understand and engage with Apple's innovative features and capabilities.

Description

Instructional Products is seeking an Instructional Designer to develop customer-facing materials for products that range from professional creative apps to consumer productivity tools and emerging platforms. At the core of the work, our Instructional Designers figure out what users need to know, decide the best way to present that information, then execute their plan with precision. That means working at the intersection of writing craft and content design, moving between big-picture decisions about structure and organization and the close work of getting sentences exactly right.

The role spans a wide range of products, formats, and release cycles, which requires frequent context-switching and shifting priorities. You'll work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to understand what you're writing about, and with editors, graphic designers, legal reviewers, and other writers to make sure what ships is excellent.
