The Caribbean Development Bank—or CDB—is a regional financial institution founded for the purpose of contributing to economic growth and development in countries across the region and promoting cooperation and integration among them. The Bank helps Borrowing Member Countries, or BMCs, optimise their resources and expand trade and production, while promoting public and private investment. CDB also mobilises financial resources for development and provides technical assistance to Caribbean countries.
