To achieve our vision, we are searching for an experienced Senior Director of Development with a Bachelor's Degree and 5-8+ years of fundraising experience, with a proven track record of securing major individual gifts, preferably in NYC, who is fueled by a passion for team success and continual improvement.
Deliver incredible results
As the Senior Director of Development at Zeta, you will build and grow our presence in various philanthropic circles and deepen strong, lasting individual and institutional commitments through fundraising and engagement efforts. You will lead our overall fundraising strategy and donor and board stewardship through:
Advancing partnerships with government, corporate, and foundation donors as well as identifying and cultivating prospective donors
Developing and implementing an excellent fundraising strategy that will allow us to achieve our annual and long-term fundraising goals and managing all related activities, including but not limited to prospecting new donors, communicating with potential donors, and coordinating special events and tours
Researching, identifying, and applying for government, foundation, and corporate funding streams, as well as managing and renewing existing grants
Overseeing our full cycle of board relationships including facilitating board communications and engagement, as well as recruiting new board members

Currently, Zeta operates two schools, one in upper Manhattan and one in the South Bronx. We have big growth plans because the educational crisis is massive and requires big solutions.
