The Role:

We are seeking a visionary Sr Director of Supply Chain Operations EMEA to lead our strategic growth and operational maturity from our Stockholm headquarter. In this high-impact role, you will transition from day-to-day tactical execution to designing the operational framework for our supply chain, logistics, and fulfillment ecosystem. You will lead a multi-tiered team, driving the implementation of quality program, automated process & systems, cybersecurity protocols within the supply chain, and a world-class Operational Excellence (OpEx) program.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Representation:
  • Regional Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy for the EMEA region, aligned with global business objectives. Drive strategic supply chain initiatives that scale operations and align with corporate goals.
  • Site Leadership: Serve as the primary company leader and representative in Stockholm, fostering a positive and productive work environment that reflects our company values. Make high-level decisions regarding local operations, resources, and strategic direction.
  • Regional Fulfillment Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end regional fulfillment lifecycle, managing relationships with strategic 3PL partners and internal distribution center to ensure speed, accuracy, and cost-efficiency. Establish strong relationships with local partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Team Leadership & KPI Ownership: Lead, mentor, and grow a large, diverse organization. Foster a culture of high performance where the team fully owns and reports their KPIs. Establish clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between teams to drive accountability and facilitate data-driven discussions and decisions.
  • Strategic Growth: Champion key supply chain projects to expand local operations and support global business initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence & Quality Management:
  • OpEx Program Ownership: Architect and lead an organization-wide Operational Excellence program. Move beyond basic continuous improvement to implement systemic Lean management systems and relevant Six Sigma methodologies for order management, warehouse, production, and fulfillment.
  • ISO 9001 Leadership & World-Class Quality:  Work with Quality team to evolve processes and implement a comprehensive quality program centered on risk assessment and rigorous audit processes. Drive "built-in quality" initiatives in close collaboration with Engineering and ERP to prevent defects at the source. Identify knowledge gaps and proactively provide training and education to the wider organization.
  • Process Engineering: Drive the transition from manual processes to standardized, automated workflows that can scale globally without linear headcount growth.
  • Systems, Automation & Security:
  • Digital Transformation & Automation: Work with Engineering to support and implement the roadmap for supply chain automation, including the selection and strategic deployment of advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP integrations, and robotics/automation hardware. Drive the effective utilization of all company-provided systems and equipment to maximize productivity and data-driven decision-making.
  • Supply Chain Cybersecurity: Partner with the CISO and IT leadership to embed cybersecurity best practices into the supply chain, especially with physical security.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing operations, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director level) managing large or remote teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration. Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
  • Quality Management Systems: Experience working with and/or exposed to quality management systems. ISO 9001 or similar preferred
  • Global Fulfillment: Proven track record of managing global logistics networks, including complex import/export compliance, customs regulations, and multi-region 3PL governance.
  • Systems Proficiency: Strategic implementation experience with enterprise-grade ERPs (specifically NetSuite) and ticketing systems (specifically Jira).
  • Cybersecurity Awareness: Functional knowledge of supply chain security standards (e.g., ISO 27001) and experience mitigating risks in the physical and digital supply chain.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, relevant certifications in Supply Chain operations.
  • Automation: Experience implementing and operating automation within a logistics environment.
  • Industry Background: Experience in the high-tech hardware or cybersecurity industry, dealing with serialized inventory and high-value components.
  • ISO Standards: Deep expertise in ISO 9001 standards; proven experience leading an organization through ISO certification or serving as a Lead Auditor/QMS owner.
