Retail Credit Manager

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Retail Credit Manager to join our Finance team in Kennesaw, GA. This position oversees daily credit underwriting operations for powersports and marine installment contracts and credit card accounts. This role leads a team of credit underwriters to ensure high-quality decisioning, consistent application of credit policy, and compliance with all applicable regulations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead daily operations for credit application review and verification, ensuring alignment with policy and business goals.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and recommend policy updates.

• Develop and track key performance metrics across installment and revolving credit teams.

• Create and manage employee development plans to foster internal talent growth.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

• Support development of operational policies and controls to manage risk and optimize workflow.

• Collaborate across departments (funding, sales, QA) to support company-wide finance objectives.

What You Need To Be Successful:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing indirect consumer credit originations and underwriting, ideally in automotive, RV, or powersports finance.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Willingness to travel overnight; occasional weekend travel for industry events.

• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.

• Comprehensive understanding of lending principles, credit analytics, and regulatory compliance.

• Proven success leading a team of 10+ credit professionals.

• Hands-on, results-oriented management style.

• Exceptional communication skills and confidence handling escalations or group presentations.
