Marketing Manager
Yamaha Motor Finance Corp - US has an exciting opportunity for Marketing Manager. This position leads the YMFC-US marketing department and team, serving as a key cross-functional leader collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, business unit partners, internal departments, global affiliates, and agencies of record to achieve corporate objectives. The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the marketing department's long-term and short-term strategies, guiding end-to-end campaign planning, implementation, and evaluation across core marketing functions including but not limited to brand strategy, communications, online/offline campaigns, events, and creative/media production. In addition, this position provides oversight of the marketing divisions budget and allocation for all activities and operating expenses, ensuring resources are effectively prioritized to maximize impact and support corporate goals.
What You'll Be Doing
- Serves as key inter-departmental stakeholder for the marketing team, ensuring collaboration with internal departments, Yamaha business units, and external partners.
- Lead strategy and execution of YMFC-US Marketing, Digital, and CRM campaigns by directing internal team members and managing agency partners. Lead adoption of key initiatives including CRM e-mail campaigns, website enhancements, and consumer engagement across online/offline channels. Ensure initiatives align with corporate goals, allocated budgets, deliver measurable ROI, and drive growth.
- Direct strategy and execution of all internal and external YMFC-US events by directing the Event Coordinator and managing agency partners and sponsorship activations. Ensure events and sponsorships align with corporate goals, budgets, and brand standards while enhancing dealer engagement, customer experience, and overall brand visibility.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and implement retail marketing support strategies. Execute these strategies by working with internal teams to create and manage both online and in-store marketing materials, P.O.P., promotional branding, and special dealer events.
- Ensure brand integrity and regulatory compliance across all finance-related marketing materials, content, and communications for all audiences including dealers and consumers. This involves maintaining a consistent visual identity while also verifying that all financial messaging is accurate, compliant with legal standards, and clearly communicated.
- Understand and update the customer journey as needed to ensure a seamless experience. Analyze market trends and customer data to identify growth opportunities.
- Establish KPIs for marketing activities and campaigns. Regularly analyze performance data to assess ROI, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across channels. Report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Oversee marketing division processes including management of budgets, forecasting, OPEX allocation, vendor/contract management, and project timelines to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
- Mentor and develop marketing team members through goal setting, coaching, and performance management. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team culture.
- Presentation material development to assist with executive management status/project reporting and check-ins.

- Works under supervision of senior manager with high degree of autonomy with respect to decision-making and leading members of the marketing team to follow agreed upon YMFC marketing direction.
- Will manage marketing specialists (direct reports) and outside agency partners to facilitate third party endorsement of Yamaha and YMFC products.
- Will manage and represent final recommendation/decision in many aspects of the role including appropriateness and feasibility of created/sourced content to be shared via YMFC Omi channels, on/off-line initiative coordination, asset planning/sharing and more.
- Make decisions within area of responsibility, intense level of autonomy. Must take ownership of work to ensure all communication materials are in-line with core values, visual identity guidelines, and financial decisions are within budget. Balanced communication to ensure dealer's needs are met and maintain correct decision making to grow and protect the Yamaha brand.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years in Marketing/advertising with increased responsibility. Preferably a passion for and knowledge of Powersports, financial services and related products.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in management and proven ability to perform management tasks to be successful in role.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills.
- Experience with digital marketing, marketing automation and CRM tools (ex: Salesforce, etc.).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects, exhibiting superior time management skills with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
- Must have proven ability to build good relationships with vendors, customers and support groups.
- Able to create/present/deliver strategic brand/marketing messages and direction to a wide variety of audiences, including executive management.
- Proven contract/sponsorship negotiation skills.
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required.
- Ability to travel as needed, approximately 20%.
