VP of Product, Enterprise Finance Platform

1 month ago New York, NY

Vice President, SAP Services

Location: New York / Los Angeles
Reports to: SVP, Product & Engineering

Position Summary

WME is hiring a Vice President to take full ownership of our Enterprise Finance Platform and evolve our ERP ecosystem, including SAP, into a modern, intelligent engine that strengthens how capital flows through the company.

This is not an SAP operations role. It is a platform leadership mandate with full responsibility for strategy, architecture, and technical execution.

This is a hands-on role with enterprise-level impact. We're rebuilding the financial operating system of WME. Close cycles. Working capital. Revenue integrity. Automation. We're redesigning the platform that drives all of it.

Why This Role Matters:

  • This platform is central to how WME operates. It is not a side initiative or a technical clean-up. It is a long-term strategic priority with executive sponsorship and meaningful investment behind it.

The leader in this role will have real authority to shape architecture, operating model, and team composition. The mandate is to build a durable, modern finance platform that strengthens how capital flows through the business and scales with the company over the next decade.

This is a rare opportunity to build something foundational inside a complex, high-velocity enterprise and see the impact of those decisions in real time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the multi-year strategy for WME's Enterprise Finance Platform, owning both roadmap and technical delivery
  • Modernize legacy workflows and simplify structural complexity by embedding AI and automation where they materially improve performance
  • Build and lead the engineering organization, setting clear standards for architecture, integrations, and data design
  • Treat Finance operators as customers by mapping workflows, instrumenting friction, and prioritizing improvements based on measurable user and business impact
  • Deliver structural business outcomes: shorter close cycles, reduced manual workflows and support tickets, increased automation, stronger revenue integrity, improved working capital visibility, and systems that scale without linear headcount growth
  • Ensure platform stability, security, and regulatory compliance across global operations
  • Own enterprise platform budget and technology investment decisions
  • Lead change management and adoption across global finance teams
  • Align senior business, finance, and technology stakeholders around clear priorities and measurable outcomes
