Requirements

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in Windows systems engineering, platform engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong expertise in Windows internals, system-level troubleshooting, and kernel debugging.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes, preferably Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), including Windows workloads.
• In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, including Open vSwitch (OVS) or Antrea, or OpenSwitch.
• Hands-on experience diagnosing networking issues in containerized environments.
• Proficiency in C , C#, and PowerShell for system-level development and automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, testing frameworks, and image automation.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and system hardening in enterprise environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently on complex technical problems and collaborate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical expertise for Windows systems and networking within Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) environments.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve incidents and defects related to GKE Windows, including performing root cause analysis and implementing required code fixes.
• Design, develop, and enhance Windows support features within GKE, contributing to platform stability and scalability.
• Perform advanced Windows system-level and kernel debugging, including crash dump analysis, to resolve complex issues.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system and networking problems impacting containerized Windows workloads running on Kubernetes.
• Maintain, improve, and troubleshoot automated build and test frameworks for GKE Windows components.
• Manage, enhance, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve reliability, performance, and security compliance.
• Enable, test, and qualify new compute and storage features as part of New Product Introductions (NPIs) for GKE Windows.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions.
• Document investigations, root causes, fixes, code changes, and architectural improvements in a clear and structured manner.
• Perform other related technical tasks as required.
