VMware Server Admin: SME

• Should have good exposure in Managing of Multiple Virtualized Infrastructure (ESXi and Nutanix).
• Implemented & Maintained Infrastructure: vSphere Client, Nutanix AHV, Nutanix AOS, ESXi, vCenter,Prism Central , HA, DRS, vMotion, svMotion, NAS, SAN, vSAN, VSS, DVS, NSX, Snapshots, Templates etc.
• Should have Handson experience on Various VMware Tools (VRA, SRM, VROPS, Lifecysle Management etc).
• Should be able to guide and assist team in upgrading VMWare and Nutanix hardware.
• Should be able to lead and mitigate complex server issues.
• Responsible for RCA preparation and ensuring proactive approach to avoid any Incident to occur.
• Responsible to review all Changes and implement the same.
• Responsible on planning and implementing Latest fixes / Patches proactively.
• Performance capacity management on VMWare and Nutanix servers.
• Extracting Reports from tools and ensuring inventory is well maintained.
• Periodic User access review
• Analyze Problems & ensuring all best industry standard practice followed.
• Responsible for preparing Golden Image template periodically
• Should have proven skills in infrastructure planning and build for Virtualization infrastructure (ESXi and Nutanix).
• Responsible for ensuring all Day to Day House Keeping tasks are performed and Infrastructure is managed to its best capacity.
• Responsible for Setting up of a VMware High Availability (HA) cluster and managing the same.
• Responsible for Configuring of virtual switches, network connections and port groups Configure Storage
• Responsible for Virtual Center Installation and upgrades.
• Script ESX Server deployments for remote installation
• Responsible for any security mitigation and best practices in a VMware Virtualized Environment.
• Minimum 10 yrs & above experience

Skills Required:

Primary Skills: Should have strong exposure on VMware Server, Virtualization Server, Vsphere, Hyper-V, Nutanix.

Secondary Skills: Should have good Understanding on Operating Systems (Windows, Linux), Storage Technology, Network Technology.

Mandatory Skills: VMware Server Admin .

Experience: 8-10 Years .
