Role
Training and development manager should devise plans and approach aligned to organizational training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes. Identify training and developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives that delivers successful business outcomes. Works across many departments to get employees up to speed in both their specific vertical, and the overall needs of the Account. Have backgrounds in business, leadership, human resources, development and education. Include enhancing employees' skills, performance, productivity and quality of work

- Identifying and assessing future and current training needs
- Drawing an overall or individualized training approach
- Deploying a different variety of training methods for specified needs and outcomes
- Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
- Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
- Monitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
- Manage training budget
- Provide opportunities for ongoing development
- Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES
Role Definition : Talent Skilling manager should align business training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes in line with the overall business strategy. Identify training and developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives that delivers successful business outcomes. Should be able to work in matrixed teams and cross functional groups across departments to develop employees aimed at job proficiency & higher productivity, both their specific vertical, and the overall needs of the Account.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Ensure Training Frameworks are in place/executed for each work type, process and/or account - Process SOPs, Training Approach Note, RACI, Training Plans, Hiring Interventions, Upskilling, Cross-Skilling, PKTs, Training Reports, Training Master files (audit trail)
Identifying and assessing future and current training needs
Lead and manage a team of trainers and be accountable for their performance
Drawing an overall or individualized training approach
Deploying a different variety of training methods for specified needs and outcomes
Identify and assess future and current training needs through PKT scores, job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
Conduct effective induction, behaviourial and orientation sessions
Monitor and evaluate training programs' effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
Manage training budget
Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practicesRFIs,RFQs,RFPs, transitions and ramp-ups - lead training discussions, provide training inputs and pubish timely reports
Client management, stakeholder management and partner with different functional teams like Hiring, Quality, HR and BFM for various training initiatives/needs
CRITICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
8 years of experience in Insurance domain - UK & US pensions, UK & US retirements, UK & US DB and DC
Experience in managing knowledge transfer
Work experience across multi Geographies
Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills
Excellent leadership skills
Must have
- Understanding of Insurance Lifecycle
- Content Design & Development Skills
- Experience in handling LMS activities
- Hands-on experience on responding to RFIs/RFQs, RFP's for Insurance proposals - Life, Retail, Pension etc.
