Job Description:

Network Application Support

Core Responsibilities Design and Implementation Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable IP network architectures including LAN, WAN, MPLS, VPN, and SDN technologies to meet evolving business requirements. Configure, integrate, and maintain a variety of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers with an emphasis on performance, security, and reliability. Create and maintain comprehensive High-Level and Low-Level Design documents (HLD/LLD) to effectively communicate architecture decisions and configurations across technical teams. Network Optimization & Maintenance Continuously monitor and analyze network performance using advanced network monitoring tools and techniques to promptly identify and resolve issues. Lead the planning and execution of proactive upgrades, patch management, and configuration updates to network infrastructure components. Maintain thorough documentation of network configurations, procedures, and maintenance activities to support operational efficiency and knowledge sharing within the team. Security & Compliance Implement and enforce security policies and best practices across all IP network components, including VPN configurations and firewall rules. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with organizational standards and relevant industry regulations. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to remediate risks and enhance network defenses against emerging threats. Collaboration & Support Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and product management, to align network solutions with business goals and customer needs. Provide expert technical support during critical escalations and participate actively in on-call rotations to maintain network uptime and service quality. Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the network operations team. Required Skills & Knowledge

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding Test Requirements and Test Case Design

    • Collaborate with product stakeholders to deeply understand business requirements and accurately translate them into detailed, testable specifications.
    • Develop and author comprehensive test plans and test cases that reflect both functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring full coverage of product features.
    • Implement Wipro's Model-Based Testing frameworks to automate and streamline test case generation, increasing testing efficiency and coverage.
    • Conduct thorough peer reviews of test cases to enhance their quality and minimize rework during later stages.
    • Maintain traceability of test cases to requirements and product versions, working closely with development teams to capture changes and updates.
    • Define clear testing criteria, scope, and parameters, including involvement in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure product readiness.
    • Automate various stages of the test life cycle through scripting and GUI automation tools, including VB macros and scheduling mechanisms, to enhance repeatability and reduce manual effort.
  • Design and Execution of Automation Framework and Reporting

    • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks tailored to software validation needs within the Telecom Service Assurance domain.
    • Set up and configure test environments that mimic production scenarios, ensuring accurate and reliable test execution.
    • Execute automated and manual test cases, meticulously tracking defects and reporting issues with precise descriptions and reproducible steps.
    • Analyze defect trends to identify root causes, enhancing test coverage and reducing recurring issues.
    • Prepare comprehensive test execution reports and dashboards, delivering clear and timely updates to project stakeholders at the end of each test cycle.
    • Evaluate serviceability and usability feedback from testing activities and communicate quality risks to relevant teams for proactive mitigation.
  • Status Reporting and Customer Engagement

    • Maintain excellent communication standards with customers through professional email correspondence, timely fault report tracking, and effective voice interactions aligned with business etiquette.
    • Ensure punctual delivery of Weekly Status Reports (WSRs), detailed test execution reports, and updated dashboards within the Test Management System, supporting transparency and informed decision-making.
    • Accurately document and update effort tracking tools such as eCube, TMS, and other project-related systems to reflect real-time progress and resource utilization.
    • Respond promptly to customer requests and queries, ensuring high satisfaction and preventing any internal or external complaints.
    • Foster a customer-centric mindset by proactively identifying potential concerns and addressing them collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


No Performance Parameter Measurement Criteria 1 Comprehensive Understanding and Design of Test Cases Delivery of error-free testing solutions with minimal process exceptions, adherence to 100% SLA compliance, and significant automation coverage through VB scripts and macros to optimize test processes. 2 Test Case Execution and Reporting Efficiency Achieve high testing quality and operational efficiency demonstrated through on-time delivery of test activities, rapid troubleshooting within Turnaround Time (TAT), and excellent customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores reflecting stakeholder confidence.
