Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Extend App Developer to design, develop, and deliver Workday Extend applications. The ideal candidate will have developed a minimum of 5 applications from scratch and will be capable of leading and delivering Workday applications from understanding customer requirements to the delivery of the application.

Mandatory Skills: -

• Accelerating common tasks with generative AI.
Illuminate leverages generative AI to expedite content creation and summarization for things like job descriptions, talent highlights, messages, knowledge articles, contracts, and more.

• Delivering real-time AI assistance in the flow of work. Illuminate reduces friction and helps employees prioritize critical work.

• Familiar with new Workday Assistant facilitates seamless, intuitive assistance across routine HR and finance tasks, providing real-time guidance through complex processes to allow employees to focus on more strategic work.

• Transforming entire business processes with AI orchestration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Workday advanced tools, including Workday Extend, Adaptive Planning, and Workday Illuminate, tailored to business requirements, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, HR, IT teams, and external partners to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and manage integrations using Workday APIs, Workday Studio, and other Workday tools to ensure data accuracy and seamless functionality across systems.
• Create custom-built solutions within Workday to enhance the capabilities of Workday modules such as HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Absence.
• Utilize generative AI to expedite content creation and summarization for job descriptions, talent highlights, messages, knowledge articles, contracts, and more.
• Deliver real-time AI assistance in the flow of work, reducing friction and helping employees prioritize critical work.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues related to existing Workday applications and integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain detailed documentation for all Workday solutions, including design specifications, testing plans, and deployment strategies.
• Monitor Workday's bi-annual updates to identify new capabilities and determine their applicability to the organization.
• Provide training and technical support to internal teams for newly developed Workday applications.

Qualifications:

• Workday only experience - Minimum 4 years along with at least 2 full implementations
• In-depth knowledge of Workday Extend, Adaptive Planning, Workday Illuminate, Workday Studio, APIs, and web services (REST/SOAP).
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript) and experience with JSON, XML, and XSLT.
• Familiarity with generative AI and its application in expediting content creation and summarization.
• Relevant Workday certifications such as Workday Extend and Workday Illuminate.
