Job Description:
• Prime responsibility will be to develop detailed design specifications, create and review code and assess impact on other applications using the ServiceNow Platform. This role will work closely with other team members to ensure consistency in coding standards, best practices, compliance with governance policies and to optimize any synergy and re-use opportunities.
• Develops code (writes software application programs). Develop and codes programs to integrate multiple subsystems. Identifies and recommend system enhancements to improve or expand customer services by anticipating customer problems and recommending solutions. Plans, schedules, and coordinates project design and implementation teams. Assists and trains others on technical or industry-related issues. Evaluates hardware or software product alternatives and makes recommendations.
• Work closely with the Platform System Administrators to investigate and resolve production incidents.

Key accountabilities:
• Responsible for leading technical aspects of enhancement backlog items from inception through to deployment.
• Participate in analysis and system design specification sessions.
• Provide detailed development complexity estimates to Product Owner for development effort as well as daily status reporting.
• Configuration management for the sub projects within the release.
• Responsible for coding, testing, packaging, deployment and support of builds as code is promoted from development, system, acceptance and production environments. May lead code reviews
• Participate in development of test strategy, test plans, test cases and testing efforts (unit testing and integration testing of code).

Skills Requirements:
• Hands-on technical working experience as a ServiceNow Developer, preferably within the financial services industry. Applications and Modules include: APM/CSDM, Service Catalogs, Incident/Change/Problem, CMDB, Demand and integrations with third party applications
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Applications Portfolio Management, Integration Hub and other integrations on the NOW Platform.
• Hold a ServiceNow CSA and ServiceNow CIS certification
• Demonstrate a good understanding of the following frameworks: Agile Scrum, DevOps and ITIL 4

MUST HAVE:
1.) Hands-on technical working experience as a ServiceNow Developer - 8 years for senior developer and 5 years for developer.
2.) Certification: Certified ServiceNow System Administrator
3.) Understanding of Applications Portfolio Management, Integration Hub and other integrations on the NOW Platform
4.) High level ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot issues.
5.) Strong communication skills (verbal and oral)

1. Bridging the gap between project and support teams through techno-functional expertise

• For a new business implementation project, drive the end to end process from business requirement management to integration & configuration and production deployment
• Check the feasibility of the new change requirements and provide optimal solution to the client with clear timelines
• Provide techno-functional solution support for all the new business implementations while building the entire system from the scratch
• Support the solutioning team from architectural design, coding, testing and implementation
• Understand the functional design as well as technical design and architecture to be implemented on the ERP system
• Customize, extend, modify, localize or integrate to the existing product by virtue of coding, testing & production
• Implement the business processes, requirements and the underlying ERP technology to translate them into ERP solutions
• Write code as per the developmental standards to decide upon the implementation methodology
• Provide product support and maintenance to the clients for a specific ERP solution and resolve the day to day queries/ technical problems which may arise
• Create and deploy automation tools/ solutions to ensure process optimization and increase in efficiency
• Sink between technical and functional requirements of the project and provide solutioning/ advise to the client or internal teams accordingly
