About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Writer with strong experience in cloud-native documentation, preferably within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. The primary focus of this role is creating and maintaining high-quality documentation for Observability and Telemetry agents, enabling developers, SREs, and platform teams to successfully deploy, configure, and operate monitoring solutions at scale.
This role requires close collaboration with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation for observability and telemetry agents (metrics, logs, traces).
- Develop content such as installation guides, configuration references, architecture overviews, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to document new features and enhancements.
- Ensure documentation aligns with cloud-native and GCP best practices.
- Maintain consistency in tone, structure, and terminology across all documentation assets.
- Review and update documentation based on product changes and user feedbac

Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer in software, cloud, or infrastructure environments.
- Strong experience documenting distributed systems, observability tools, or monitoring platforms.
- Hands-on or documentation experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (strongly preferred).
- Solid understanding of telemetry concepts: logs, metrics, traces, agents, collectors.
- Ability to work with engineering teams and understand technical designs.
- Experience with documentation tools such as Markdown, Git, Docs-as-Code workflows.
Nice to Have
- Experience with observability tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Experience documenting APIs or SDKs.
- Background working in Agile or DevOps teams.
