• As Lead SQL Server Administrator, you will have primary responsibility for managing complex database migration and handling escalations.
• Participate in Weekly, monthly review with the customer.
• Work with account to meet commitments, requirements, and expectations, ensure that all planned upgrade & migrations delivered on time.

• Provide consultation and highlight risks proactively for SQL Server workload.
• Validate the existing process, migration approach and provide recommendations.
• Provide inputs to automation team for pre & post check activities.
• Provide post migration support during warranty period.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Should have handled large database upgrade & database migrations project.
• Experience in database engineering and design work
• Database performance tuning experience.
• Strong Always On, Replication & Log Shipping expertise.
• Must have SQL Server 2019 upgrade experience.

Job Requirements/Descriptions:

• Work with customer engineering & design team to meet commitments, requirements, and expectations, ensure that all use case delivered on time.
• Perform KT from customer engineering & design team to understand customer processes and migration approach.
• Pass on the acquired knowledge to SQL Server team members.
• Provide consultation and update for SQL Server migration.
• Provide post migration support.

Technical skills required :

• Strong SQL Server 2008 R2,2012,2014, 2016, 2017 & 2019 expertise.
• Performance tuning experience.
• Large SQL Server upgrade & migration projects experience.

Mandatory Skills: MSSQL Database Admin .

Experience: 8-10 Years .
