With a deep understanding of their domain, this role oversees complex projects and processes, driving operational excellence and identifying pockets to drive innovations. This role usually involves managing a team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of functional projects and processes, that can impact multiple teams/ business units.
- Formulate operational strategies and administer policies and resources, operating with significant autonomy.
- Take ownership of governance across work areas, ensuring accountability and alignment with organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing initiatives that enhance efficiency and sustainability.
- Address and resolve issues that typically involve a large process or a group of sub processes
- They proactively handle escalations and resolve problems
- Collaborate with other teams and sometimes with leadership to deliver results
- Oversee and coordinate the efforts of team members to meet organizational goals, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Develop execution strategy for projects linked to strategic goals of the function
- They are responsible for building a strong team under them by coaching and mentoring their team members.
- Establish oneself as an expert in their specific area of work internally
