Senior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services using Java 17 , Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Architect and implement Microservices-based solutions and ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
• Deploy and manage applications on Azure Cloud using services like App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Implement RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and event-driven architectures.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA to deliver quality software following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Monitor applications in production using App Insights, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.
• Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews.

Required Skills:
• Experience in Java development with strong OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security.
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and API Gateway concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services, especially:
- Azure App Services
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure Functions
- Azure Cosmos DB / SQL / Blob Storage
- Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos)

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB).
• Exposure to unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and code quality tools (SonarQube, Checkstyle).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204, AZ-400, AZ-305)
• Experience with Terraform, Helm, or other infrastructure-as-code tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices
• Experience in performance tuning and security hardening

Mandatory Skills: Fullstack Java Enterprise .

Experience: 8-10 Years .

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
