Job Description:

SDET -Senior Automation Test Engineer

Band - B2/B3

Location - Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium with BDD-Cucumber.
• Develop robust, reusable, and maintainable automation scripts using Java following best coding practices.
• Create and maintain feature files, step definitions, and test execution strategies.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for continuous testing.
• Manage source code and versioning using Git.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration test cycles and analyze results.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure complete requirement coverage.
• Report defects clearly, track them to closure, and contribute to overall quality improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and actively contribute to sprint deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Selenium Automation with BDD-Cucumber.
• Strong expertise in Java programming with excellent understanding of OOPS concepts.
• Minimum 4 years of experience working with Git and Jenkins in CI/CD environments.
• Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks (POM / Hybrid frameworks preferred).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work in distributed teams.
