Job Description: SAP Project System (PS) Consultant
Role Summary
The SAP Project System (PS) Consultant will support SAP rollout and carve-out initiatives by extending the existing SAP PS standard template to newly created legal entities. The role covers end-to-end project lifecycle activities for both CAPEX and OPEX projects, including master data management, budgeting and controls, transactional processing, and settlement and capitalization.
Key Responsibilities
• Support SAP PS rollout and carve-out projects by enabling standard template processes for new entities
• Extend and adapt SAP PS features and configurations for CAPEX and OPEX project scenarios
• Create, modify, and extend PS master data including WBS elements, networks, and activities
• Support system set up for project planning, budgeting, availability control, and cost monitoring
• Configuring system for transactional data processing and integration with FI, CO, MM, and Asset Accounting
• Period end closing activities including settlement - AUC, final assets and/or settlement to final cost objects
• Support testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization for newly onboarded entities
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Project System (PS)
• Experience in rollout or carve-out SAP projects
• Good understanding of CAPEX and OPEX accounting and budgeting concepts
• Experience with AUC management, capitalization, and settlement cycles
• Integration knowledge with FI, CO, MM, and Asset Accounting
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills
