Role Purpose
As the Salesforce Practice Head at Wipro Technologies-USA, you will spearhead the strategic direction, business planning, and solution development for the Salesforce Practice within the Enterprise Applications service line. This pivotal role is designed to create distinctive market differentiation, enhance the Wipro brand, foster competency growth, and rigorously ensure that delivery commitments are met. Your leadership will directly influence growth in both Order Book and Revenue Realization, ensuring sustainable success and client satisfaction.

1. Develop Strategy and Drive Execution
• Define and implement a forward-looking strategy for the Salesforce Practice that establishes clear market differentiation aligned with evolving industry trends and client needs.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, advisors, partners, and business units to analyze market dynamics and competitive landscapes, shaping both short-term objectives and long-term vision.
• Lead robust execution of business plans through high-impact delivery, strengthening customer relationships, and fostering cohesive teams that champion sales and partnerships.
2. Market Differentiation and Demand Generation
a. Architect and oversee the Practice's Go-To-Market strategy, emphasizing unique value propositions and targeted branding initiatives.
• Develop sub-practice focus areas aiding solution-driven sales efforts.
• Guide decision-making on target markets, offerings, distribution channels, and client engagement.
• Lead creation of marketing assets including product plans, proofs of concept, and detailed business cases supporting sales enablement.
b. Facilitate comprehensive education sessions for sales and client teams to communicate the Practice's distinctive offerings and benefits.
c. Cultivate upstream consulting capabilities to build a robust sales pipeline:
• Promote advisory and consulting expertise within niche functional and technical domains.
• Elevate consulting-led sales as a significant growth driver.
d. Champion Thought Leadership initiatives:
• Engage analyst and industry bodies to enhance Wipro's market perception.
• Set and monitor targets for analyst rankings, client testimonials, and partnership credentials.
• Represent Wipro at key industry forums and produce impactful thought leadership content such as blogs and whitepapers.
3. Revenue Growth and Client Acquisition
• Collaborate with Strategic Market Unit (SMU) leaders to optimize account growth and reclaim competitive market share.
• Support new business acquisition efforts by demonstrating practice expertise and comprehensive solution capabilities.
• Lead pre-sales initiatives including RFP responses, solution design, and technical demonstrations to maximize win-rates.
• Manage integrated deal execution with a focus on industry, functional, and commercial specialization.
• Approve proposals and RFP responses, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
• Negotiate commercial terms to safeguard revenue streams and profitability.
• Monitor deal execution quality and compliance with financial and operational standards.
• Proactively resolve complex client escalations to protect revenue integrity.
4. Delivery Assurance and Management
a. Conduct comprehensive due diligence for proposals to confirm delivery feasibility.
b. Oversee technical scope management, solutioning, and build a strong talent pool of technologists and architects.
• Approve sales proposals based on delivery viability.
• Recommend and implement pricing frameworks tailored to optimize cost-efficiency.
• Implement audit and governance processes to ensure scope compliance and quality.
c. Deploy optimal delivery frameworks encompassing processes, governance, and risk management customized by geography.
• Regularly audit delivery quality assurance to uphold standards.
• Drive automation and reusability initiatives to accelerate time to market.
d. Demonstrate delivery competence to clients to instill confidence and secure long-term partnerships.
5. Delivery Leadership and Performance Management
• Partner closely with Practice Delivery Heads to ensure flawless execution of projects.
• Monitor delivery metrics such as utilization rates, billing efficiency, and onsite/offshore resource balance through comprehensive dashboards.
• Address and resolve client delivery escalations swiftly and effectively.
• Initiate and manage cost optimization measures and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Establish frameworks to guarantee project green starts and sustained delivery health.
• Lead the strategic assembly of delivery teams, ensuring resource allocation aligns with client expectations and project needs.
• Drive delivery-led growth strategies leveraging differentiated value propositions for deeper client engagement.
6. Capability Development and Talent Management
• Oversee demand forecasting, resource planning, and ensure alignment with budgetary and operational requirements.
• Champion local talent acquisition and development aligned with key market priorities.
• Promote best practice integrations across sub-practices to maximize efficiency.
• Lead workforce transformation initiatives focusing on competency enhancement, multi-skilling, and mandatory training compliance.
• Design and execute fresher engagement programs to build a robust talent pipeline.
• Manage comprehensive talent lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, training, retention, diversity and inclusion, and performance management.
• Foster an engaging workplace culture prioritizing employee satisfaction and ongoing professional growth.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $200,000.00 to $280,000.00.
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
