Sales Director
Wipro's Sales Director roles for strategic accounts like LG and Hyundai are senior-level "Hunter-Farmer" positions. These roles are focused on driving AI-led digital transformation, engineering services, and business process services (BPS) within LG and Hyundai. Based on Wipro's standard operating model for high-value strategic accounts, here are the key Roles & Responsibilities (R&Rs) and Requirements:
Roles & Responsibilities (R&Rs)
1. Strategic Account Management & Farming
- Account Growth: Lead the revenue generation and meet the booking targets for a multimillion-dollar portfolio per year.
- Develop Global Business and make LG/Hyundai become Global Accounts
- Relationship Building: Act as the primary point of contact for CxO-level executives at LG/Hyundai. You must transition Wipro from a "vendor" to a "strategic partner."
- Account Planning: Develop and execute 3-year strategic account plans that align Wipro's offerings (AI, Cloud, Automotive Engineering) with the client's business goals (e.g., Hyundai's shift to Electric/Software-Defined Vehicles/Physical AI:Robots ).

2. Sales & Pursuit Leadership
- Deal Shaping: Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. This includes identifying opportunities in Product Engineering, IoT, Digital Transformation around AI.
- RFP Management: Anchor large-scale RFI/RFP responses, coordinating with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams across geographies (India, Korea, and global).
3. Solution & Offering Development
- Value Proposition: Customize Wipro's "horizontal" services (like Cybersecurity or Data Analytics) into "vertical" solutions specifically for the Automotive (Hyundai) or Electronics/High-Tech (LG) sectors.
- Thought Leadership: Represent Wipro at industry forums and conduct periodical workshops to showcase AI-driven innovations to the client.
4. Delivery & Governance
- Customer Satisfaction: Conduct regular delivery reviews to ensure high CSAT scores. You are the escalation point for major delivery hurdles.
- P&L Management: Responsible for the profitability of the account, managing margins, and ensuring financial health.

- Requirements
Professional Experience
- Years of Experience: Min. 15 years in IT Services, or Sales/Pre-Sales, or Consulting sales, with at least 5-10 years specifically managing large global accounts.
- Domain Expertise: For Hyundai, deep knowledge of Automotive (SDV, Connected Cars, Supply Chain). For LG, expertise in High-Tech, Automotive, Consumer Electronics, or Manufacturing.
- Track Record: Proven ability to close "large deals" (typically contracts exceeding $5M-$10M).

Technical & Cultural Skills
- Technology Fluency: Strong understanding of Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), AI/ML, SAP, and Product Engineering Services (PES).
- Language & Location: Fluency in English is mandatory. For roles based in Seoul, proficiency in Korean is often highly preferred or required to navigate the hierarchical structure of LG/Hyundai.
- Global Delivery Model: Familiarity with managing offshore/onsite delivery teams (the "Global Delivery Model").
Leadership Competencies
- Executive Gravitas: Ability to influence and negotiate with senior leadership (VPs and CIOs).
- Collaboration: A "bridge-builder" who can work across Wipro's internal GBLs to create and deliver a unified solution.
