Job Description:
Reliability Engineer
What you'll be doing:
- Perform reliability testing of computer/server systems and peripherals including graphic cards and related products.
- Perform reliability testing of various consumer products such as tablets, consoles, remote controls, game controllers, and related products.
- Perform reliability testing of various automotive products for self-driving and other vehicle applications.
- Perform reliability prediction (MTBF) calculations for various printed circuit board assemblies and systems.
- Generate applicable test reports and interface within various internal groups, and external tests laboratories.
What we need to see:
- B.S. in an engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years-experience in reliability organizations within automotive and/or printed circuit board assembly/manufacturing industry.
- Expertise with Cent OS, Ubuntu, Tiny Linux and Windows operating systems, including writing and modifying scripts for testing and interfacing with products under test a must.
- Must possess a solid understanding and practical experience of reliability testing processes and equipment. Ability to program and operate reliability test equipment such as HALT/HASS, Temperature/Humidity chambers, and Mechanical Shock and Vibration test machines.
- Familiar with industry standard requirements such as IEC, ISO, EIA, Mil-Standards and ISTA.
Mandatory Skills: VLSI Board Design .
Experience: 3-5 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $110,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
