Role Overview

The QA Engineer will be responsible for validating UI and ITSM SelfService Portal functionalities including catalog creation, request workflows, ticketing, REST API integrations, and endtoend flow testing. This role requires strong experience in testing Angular web applications and service catalog workflows.

UI testing experience for Angular web applications.

Handson experience testing ITSM SelfService Portals including:

Catalog creation

Request creation

Ticket creation

Endtoend workflow validation

Strong knowledge of REST API testing and data flow validation.

Ability to develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases.

Experience with regression testing, integration testing, and system testing.

Proficiency with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Experience performing crossbrowser and crossdevice compatibility testing.

Ability to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.

Strong collaboration skills across development, product, and QA teams.

Good to Have Skills

Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Valuemation) and workflow engines.

Knowledge of cloud provisioning integrations (Azure, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (GitHub, GitLab, ADO).

Working knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL for backend validation.

Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).

Participation in code reviews and QA process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases for Angular UI applications.

Test SelfService Portal features including catalog creation, request workflows, and ticketing.

Validate REST API integrations and backend data exchanges with ITSM systems.

Review requirements, functional specs, and design documents for testability.

Identify, log, document, and track defects using standard QA tools.

Perform regression, integration, and system testing across multiple environments.

Ensure crossbrowser and crossdevice compatibility for all UI flows.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure overall quality.

Participate in code reviews and support continuous improvement of QA processes.
