Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer to design, build, and scale backend services and APIs that power data driven and customer facing applications. The role requires strong backend fundamentals, clean coding practices, and experience working with modern cloud and data platforms.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend architectures
• Integrate backend services with databases, third party APIs, and front-end applications
• Implement data processing, validation, and business logic
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, reviews, and documentation
• Work closely with frontend, data, and DevOps teams to deliver end to end solutions
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
• Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Experience with Git based version control

Good to Have

• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of message queues or event driven systems
• Experience working with analytics or data platforms

Experience: 8-10 Years .

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
