Product Ownership & Delivery

• Represent the voice of the customer and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Own and manage the Product Backlog, ensuring items are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business value.
• Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure readiness for sprint planning.
• Participate actively in sprint ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure timely decision-making to prevent delivery delays.

Stakeholder Communication & Management

• Act as the primary communication bridge between stakeholders and the delivery team.
• Engage with business, client, internal, and external stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify priorities, and manage expectations.
• Communicate product vision, roadmap, priorities, and release plans clearly to all stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery status.
• Facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, UX, DevOps, Finance, and Business teams.
• Identify stakeholder risks and proactively manage concerns through structured communication and engagement plans.

Requirements & Analysis

• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories.
• Support impact analysis, dependency identification, and prioritization decisions.
• Work closely with teams to resolve requirement ambiguities and scope clarifications during development.

Governance, Risk & Quality

• Ensure alignment with agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
• Identify delivery risks early and communicate mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Support release management activities and stakeholder sign-offs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong stakeholder communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to clearly articulate priorities and business value to diverse audiences.
• Experience working with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Stakeholders have clear visibility into priorities, progress, and risks.
• Well-groomed backlog aligned to business outcomes.
• Minimal delivery rework due to clear requirements and communication.
• Strong trust and collaboration between stakeholders and delivery teams.
