Role: Business Analyst

The Business Analyst / Product Owner will work with the team to ensure that business requirements are successfully and efficiently transitioned into working software.

Responsibilities:

• Elicits and challenges business requirements through an inquisitive mindset
• Creates user stories for to capture functional requirements for projects ranging from small functional enhancements to large multi-year transformations
• Demonstrates strong business and technical knowledge in Payments processing
• Collaborates with business and technology partners to provide a seamless experience to users when interacting with payments systems
• Drives business architectural solutions focused on flexibility, time to market and re-usability
• Supports testing of new or enhanced applications and/or systems, and provide guidance to team members on complex testing tasks including use case development, requirement traceability analysis, test preparation, script writing, and functional test execution
• Collaborates with business and technology teams to develop strategic technology roadmap

Qualifications

Experience in gathering the requirements and breaking them down and writing Initiatives, Epics, Stories and participating in solution design with stake holders

• Knowledge of Financial Services Industry
• Knowledge of Payments is a plus
• Knowledge of SDLC, project management tools and other methodologies like Agile
• Experience with Jira, SQL
