Oracle DBA Performance Analysis with AWS - 4to8 Yrs, Hyderabad, Pune, Bengaluru - Immediate joiner

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to resolve, maintain and manage client’s software/ hardware/ network based on the service requests raised from the end-user as per the defined SLA’s ensuring client satisfaction

DBA should be able to, although the primary focus would be performance analysis.

• Be able to analyse database performance using different metrics, such as AWS cloud watch metrics, Oracle AWS RDS Stat Pack and any other relevant metrics. The goal is to identify any database resource allocation problems, long-running queries, and tables lacking proper indexes, among other issues. Taking a pro-active view of the database, identifying any potential issues earlier.
• Capable of supporting activities related to Commvault third copy backups, if required.
• Be able to assess database security requirements in areas of access and configuration (if any are lacking)
• Advice on AWS Oracle RDS configuration in general
• Identify any cost saving strategies.
