• Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters (on-prem or hybrid).
• Set up worker/master nodes, networking, storage classes, and ingress controllers.
• Configure RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) for users, projects, and service accounts.
• Perform daily health checks: cluster status, node conditions, operator health, and alerts.
• Monitor resource utilization (CPU, memory, storage) and optimize workloads.
• Patch nodes, upgrade OpenShift versions, and validate certificate expiry timelines.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure CI/CD pipelines integrate smoothly.
• Provide guidance on container image builds, deployments, and scaling strategies.
• Troubleshoot application failures related to networking, storage, or cluster configuration.
• Conduct regular etcd backups and validate restore procedures.
• Ensure persistent volume backups are scheduled and tested.
• Simulate disaster recovery scenarios (node failure, control plane outage) to confirm resilience.
• Implement security best practices: encryption, secrets management, and network policies.
• Enforce RBAC policies to restrict unauthorized access.
• Audit logs for backup/restore, user actions, and cluster changes
