Role Summary
The role combines deep upstream domain credibility, AI-led solution storytelling, and enterprise execution-partnering closely with Consulting, Product, Engineering, and hyperscaler ecosystems to shape and close high-impact transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
Americas Ownership & Revenue Growth
Own end-to-end strategy AI across Americas accounts, aligned to Wipro's and global AI agenda
Build and manage a qualified pipeline and large-deal pursuits across upstream exploration, drilling, production, and field operations
Drive opportunity progression from Create → Validate → Qualify → Pursuit → Closure, leveraging repeatable deal constructs
Client Engagement & Executive Advisory
Act as a trusted AI transformation advisor to CIOs, CTOs, Digital, Subsurface, and Operations leadership
Lead C-suite conversations on value-backed AI adoption (lifting cost reduction, cycle-time compression, recovery optimization, safety & emissions)
Anchor executive workshops, value discovery sessions, and board-level AI roadmapping
Solution & Offering Leadership
Position and sell Wipro's Upstream AI offerings, including:
Subsurface AI & SLM platforms
AI-driven drilling and production optimization
Asset performance & predictive maintenance
Industrial AI agents, RAG pipelines, and GenAI copilots
Shape industry-specific solution bundles leveraging accelerators, PoVs, and reusable IP
Partner & Ecosystem Orchestration
Co-sell with hyperscalers and ecosystem partners (Azure, data platforms, AI tooling providers)
Align partner roadmaps with upstream client priorities and Wipro's product strategy
Internal Leadership & Governance
Work as part of the leadership alongside Consulting, Product, and Engineering teams
Support sales enablement, account teams, and pursuit squads across Americas
Mandatory
15 years in Upstream Oil & Gas data, subsurface, or G&G domains
Strong background in technical presales, consulting, or solution leadership
Credibility with upstream operators and service providers
Hands-on experience with:
OSDU data platform (schemas, ingestion, validation)
Upstream data models (PPDM, PIDM, WPC)
Cloud-based G&G and production systems (Azure preferred)
Preferred
Experience working with:
AI-driven data ingestion or analytics platforms
Subsurface visualization and cloud-native G&G stacks
Active participation in industry forums (OSDU, PPDM, SPE)
Exposure to large upstream transformation RFEs and programs

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $200,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
