We require an AI Implementation Engineer to plan, design, and build an MVP for an AI-powered CMDB Data Steward Agent on the ServiceNow platform.
The Data Steward Agent will operate as an intelligent CMDB caretaker, continuously monitoring CI data quality, detecting risks, and generating predictive insights on CI and service impact to the business.
This role will establish the foundation for self-healing, intelligence-led CMDB maintenance and operations in a regulated banking environment.
1. Key Responsibilities
Data Steward Agent - Planning & Design
- Define the Data Steward Agent operating model for CMDB maintenance and operations
- Identify priority CMDB use cases:
- CI data quality degradation
- Missing or incorrect relationships
- Stale or orphaned CIs
- High-risk CI changes impacting business services
- Design agent decision logic aligned to CSDM and CMDB governance standards
MVP Build & Enablement
- Build an MVP AI-powered Data Steward Agent capable of:
- Monitoring CMDB health signals (completeness, correctness, compliance)
- Detecting anomalies and data drift across CIs
- Recommending corrective actions or automated remediation
- Integrate the agent with:
- Discovery
- Service Mapping
- CMDB Health
- Incident and Change data
Predictive Business Impact Insights
- Enable the agent to generate predictive insights, including:
- CI failure or degradation risk
- Likely business services impacted
- Downstream incident and change risk
- Translate technical CI insights into business-service-level impact narratives
- Surface insights via dashboards, alerts, or conversational interfaces
Governance, Explainability & Controls
- Ensure the Data Steward Agent is:
- Explainable and transparent
- Auditable and compliant with banking controls
- Secure and role-aware
- Define guardrails for human-in-the-loop decision making
2. Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of ServiceNow platform experience
- Deep hands-on expertise in:
- CMDB
- CSDM
- ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping)
- Proven experience building AI or intelligent automation agents
- Strong understanding of:
- CMDB data quality and governance
- CI lifecycle and service dependency modelling
- Experience with:

Do
- Provide adequate support in architecture planning, migration & installation for new projects in own tower (platform/dbase/ middleware/ backup)
- Lead the structural/ architectural design of a platform/ middleware/ database/ back up etc. according to various system requirements to ensure a highly scalable and extensible solution
- Conduct technology capacity planning by reviewing the current and future requirements
- Utilize and leverage the new features of all underlying technologies to ensure smooth functioning of the installed databases and applications/ platforms, as applicable
- Strategize & implement disaster recovery plans and create and implement backup and recovery plans
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the tower
- Manage day-to-day operations by troubleshooting any issues, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and developing fixes to avoid similar issues.
- Plan for and manage upgradations, migration, maintenance, backup, installation and configuration functions for own tower
- Review the technical performance of own tower and deploy ways to improve efficiency, fine tune performance and reduce performance challenges
- Develop shift roster for the team to ensure no disruption in the tower
- Create and update SOPs, Data Responsibility Matrices, operations manuals, daily test plans, data architecture guidance etc.
- Provide weekly status reports to the client leadership team, internal stakeholders on database activities w.r.t. progress, updates, status, and next steps
- Leverage technology to develop Service Improvement Plan (SIP) through automation and other initiatives for higher efficiency and effectiveness
