Title: Internal Cloud Specialist (On-Prem)

The following skills are required to be successful in performing this position.

Essential:

• In-depth technical knowledge of VMWare / On-Premises Cloud product suite and technologies.
• Assume responsibility for administration, configuration, maintenance, automation and overall support of multiple VMware Products & Components.
• Highly Proficient on VMware technologies like VMware ESXi, vSAN, NSX, VCF, SDDC Manager, VMware High-Availability, VMware DRS etc.
• Providing professional support in configuration of VMware Software defined datacentre technologies and capable of managing & monitoring all the VCF components by performing advanced troubleshooting.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Site Recovery Manager (SRM), and related components participating in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
• Hands-On experience on handling high-end tools like VMware Aria Operations(vROPs) with reporting for troubleshooting and capacity planning.
• Experience in configuration and management of a Dell In-Perm Infrastructure component like VxRail, VxRail Manager, Solution Enabler, Cloud Consumption Interface (CCI) and RecoverPoint for VM(RP4VM).
• Significant knowledge in software-defined stack (SDDC) including VMware NSX, VMware vSAN and VMware Aria Suites.
• Monitoring the automation of VM deployment and configuration, along with the integration of infrastructure (computer/storage) automation.
• Ability to develop, automate and implement the end-to-end delivery and management of On-Prem Infra and accelerate application deployment & releases.
• Advanced trouble shooting skills and ability to collaborate with other Infrastructure teams to resolve issues.

• Good understanding of iSCSI, SAN, Replication, backup technologies, integration with storage (EMC/Hitachi) and Virtual Networking.
• Experience in Migration of virtual instances between cross DCs and migration of physical servers to On-Perm Cloud infrastructure etc.
• Continually improve the On-Perm Cloud Infrastructure's support tools and practices whilst maintaining a reliable, cost effective and performant environment.
• Ensure highest levels of ownership, accountability and service are maintained within the team.
• Participate in out of hours support to fulfil production and project needs as required.
• Ensure Operational process and procedures are formally documented, maintain and adhered to.
• Simplify the virtual infra management operational process by coding as much as possible.

• Experience & Knowledge in Cloud / Automation technology.
• Experience on latest Hyper converged solutions.
• Automate the end-to-end delivery and management of On-Prem Cloud Infra and accelerate application deployment and releases.
• Experience in Banking industry and Project Management
