Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy backend services and microservices architectures using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Design and implement clean, secure, and well-documented RESTful APIs facilitating seamless integration with front-end components and third-party systems.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, front-end developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to define and refine requirements, ensuring a cohesive product delivery.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews, enforcing coding standards, best practices, maintainability, and optimizing performance to uphold high-quality software outputs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimizing existing codebases to enhance performance, security, and user experience.
• Document system designs, architectures, and development processes. Participate actively throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from planning through deployment and maintenance.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing technical expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development, demonstrating a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. Proven expertise in backend application development is essential.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Java, specifically with Spring Boot for developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong foundation in software design patterns, clean code principles, and architectural best practices.
• Experience with database systems including both SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB), capable of writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Familiarity with version control tools, especially Git, to support collaborative development workflows.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively interface with UI teams.
• Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation, including API specifications, workflows, and deployment guides.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with Medicare Operations systems or healthcare IT projects.

Quality Assurance & Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) Ensure on-time delivery, efficient software management, rapid troubleshooting, high customer experience ratings, and completion of skill-enhancement certifications. 3. Management Information System (MIS) & Reporting Generate accurate and comprehensive MIS reports punctually to support data-driven decision-making processes.
These metrics will be continuously monitored to ensure project success, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction, aligning with both team and organizational objectives.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $125,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
