ROLE SUMMARY

Providing technical support and services, often focusing on specific systems or products, with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

IT Shared Services Engineer: Focuses on technical support for IT infrastructure and applications.

• Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to specific systems, products, or services.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to internal and external clients.
  • Document and maintain knowledge base for troubleshooting and resolutions.
• Process Improvement and Automation:
  • Identify areas for process improvement and automation within the shared services environment.
  • Develop and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
• Project Management:
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects related to shared services initiatives.
  • Develop project plans, track progress, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Communication and Collaboration:
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and support staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, procedures, and processes.

• Relevant experience in technical support, engineering, or a similar role.
• Experience with shared services or outsourcing environments is a plus.
