Job Description: Microsoft Azure Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, and App Services.
• Monitor Azure environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to ensure performance and availability.
• Implement and manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) including users, groups, RBAC roles, MFA, and conditional access policies.
• Perform VM provisioning, scaling, patching, backup, and disaster recovery using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
• Support hybrid cloud integrations between on-premises infrastructure and Azure.
• Troubleshoot Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, and security-related issues across L1/L2/L3 support levels.
• Implement security best practices, governance policies, and compliance controls in Azure environments.
• Manage cost optimization, resource tagging, and capacity planning for Azure subscriptions.
• Participate in cloud migrations, new environment setup, and production support.
• Work closely with application teams, network teams, and security teams to resolve incidents and deliver stable services.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
• Azure IaaS & PaaS (VMs, VNETs, NSGs, Storage, App Services, Azure SQL)
• Azure Active Directory, RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access
• Windows Server Administration (2016 / 2019 / 2022)
• Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery
• Azure Networking (VPN, ExpressRoute - basic understanding)
• Monitoring and incident management tools
• PowerShell or Azure CLI (basic to intermediate)

Good to Have Skills

• Azure DevOps basics (CI/CD awareness, pipelines support)
• Azure Security Center / Microsoft Defender for Cloud
• Exposure to cloud migrations and hybrid architectures
• ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms

Experience & Qualifications

• 7 years of overall IT experience
• 4 years of hands-on Azure administration experience

Mandatory Skills: Cloud Azure Admin .

Experience: 8-10 Years .
