Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled Grafana LGTM senior developer/architect with extensive experience in Architecting, deploying, and maintaining the full LGTM stack for end-to-end observability in a production environment (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, and Mimir, which handle logs, visualization, tracing, and metrics, respectively).
• The ideal candidate should have strong Python development experience, a deep understanding of ITOM Observability, AIOps, Event Management, and hands-on experience with APIs, data integrations, and JSON-based data models.

• Design and Implementation: Architecting, deploying, and maintaining the full LGTM stack for end-to-end observability in a production environment (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, and Mimir, which handle logs, visualization, tracing, and metrics, respectively).
• Integration: Design, develop, and maintain REST API-based integrations with 3rd party observability, cloud, and ITSM platforms
• Dashboarding and Visualization: Creating custom, visually compelling, and actionable Grafana dashboards that correlate metrics, logs, and traces to provide a single-pane-of-glass view of system health.
• Monitoring and Alerting: Designing and implementing robust monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana's built-in alerting features to ensure timely issue identification and resolution.
• Troubleshooting and Analysis: Analyzing log and metric data, performing trace analysis, and identifying performance bottlenecks or reliability issues across complex, distributed systems.
• Automation and IaC: Utilizing scripting languages (like Python) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (like Terraform) to automate the deployment and management of the observability infrastructure.
• Collaboration: Working closely with DevOps, SRE, and development teams to define monitoring requirements, onboard applications, and provide guidance on best practices for observability.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 6-12 years of experience in Observability, ITOM development/architecting roles.
• Strong Python programming (automation, APIs, data handling, plugin development).
• Hands-on experience with Grafana LGTM- Loki, Grafana, Tempo, and Mimir, which handle logs, visualization, tracing, and metrics, respectively
• Strong understanding of Observability (Logs, Metrics, Traces), ITOM, AIOps, and Event Management.
• Expertise in building REST APIs, handling JSON, and integrating third-party systems.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Loki, Elastic, Splunk, Zabbix, Dynatrace, Datadog, etc.
• Good Experience in handling container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native observability solutions.
• Good knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and versioning workflows.
