Job Description:
The IT Infrastructure Support Specialist plays a key role in maintaining and supporting mission-critical technology operations within a fast-paced airport environment. This role is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT systems while ensuring compliance with security and operational standards. While the responsibilities listed here reflect the core functions of the role, additional tasks may be assigned as business needs evolve, in accordance with applicable legal and collective bargaining obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Design & Implementation
- Develop, configure, and deploy IT infrastructure solutions including servers, networks, storage, and related systems.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational standards.
Maintenance & Technical Support
- Perform routine system updates, maintenance, and health checks on IT assets.
- Provide day-to-day support to end-users across hardware, software, and peripheral technologies.
- Assist with shipping and handling of IT equipment as needed.
Advanced Troubleshooting
- Serve as an escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues involving printers, software, network connectivity, and desktop hardware.
Security Management
- Implement, monitor, and manage IT security controls to protect infrastructure from cyber threats.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and data security practices, including PCI requirements.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner closely with network engineers, system administrators, security specialists, and other IT team members to support seamless operations.
- Provide executive-level support and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Operational & Project Support
- Support IT projects, technology rollouts, and system upgrades.
- Maintain accurate asset records and ensure proper stock and storage management.
- Escort vendors and oversee work performed by third-party providers when required.
- Participate in internal meetings and provide subject matter expertise as assigned.
- Respond to on-call support needs following established schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline - or equivalent experience/training.
- 3-5 years of hands-on IT experience supporting PC hardware, software, and peripherals.
- A Certification (required).
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills (printers, software, network issues, desktops, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel as needed.

Experience: 3-5 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $110,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
