Role Purpose

As a Technology Operations Lead, you will be supporting the company's cloud & on-premises infrastructure business processes and operations. You may contribute to the development, testing, evaluation or design of system or infrastructure architecture used throughout the IT solution set. You will be expected to manage and solve IT operational challenges by using software engineering tools and processes. In this role you will:

• 8 years of experience in application operations support with some working knowledge of managing Java, Oracle, AWS/Cloud based applications.
• Should be able to lead a team of technical application resources.
• Drive end to end apps operations including Incident, problem, change, CSI & Availability
• Own end to end application availability, resilience, and stability through various service improvements.
• Must have very good understanding of ITIL & SDLC processes.
• Knowledge of Cloud (preferably AWS) fundamentals, CI/CD pipelines & tools viz: Terraform, Jenkins, Jfrog, XLRelease, Ansible
• Ability to work in a team environment and client interfacing skills.
• Able to work in 24/7 on-call support for production environment.
• Good Analytical and communication skills.

• Your responsibilities will also include gathering system and user requirements, building modules and testing features before release. To be successful in this role you will have:
  
  • 8 years of Experience working in an ITIL process driven environment.
  • Solid foundation in IT systems and application support preferably in a cloud based environment
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of customer priorities, escalations and service restoration.
  • Awareness of change management and disaster recovery principles.
  • Basic or Advanced experience in Monitoring Tools viz Dynatrace, DataDog, Nagios etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly troubleshoot system/infrastructure issues.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to deal with Stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and domain areas.
