CYBER SECURITY ANALYST L4(CONTRACT)

• Integrate PSAT with user directories, identity systems, email gateways, and SIEM (where applicable).
2. Phishing Simulation Program
• Design, schedule, and execute phishing simulations (credential harvest, attachment based, link based, BEC themed, etc.).
• Analyze simulation metrics: click rates, reporting rates, credential submission attempts, repeat offenders.
• Produce risk based targeted training plans based on simulation results.
3. Security Awareness Content Management
• Deploy Proofpoint provided awareness modules, videos, micro learning, and periodic refresher content.
• Customize content to meet organizational policy, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Track learner progress, completion rates, and performance improvements.
4. Threat Intelligence Driven Awareness
• Leverage intelligence provided via TAP/TRAP training pathways referenced in Proofpoint Email Security Training Enablement V1.0 (technical specialist paths) to shape SAT campaigns based on real world phishing trends. [Proofpoint...ement V1.0 | Word]
• Align awareness content to live threats targeting the organization (spoofing, ransomware lures, business email compromise).
5. Reporting, Metrics & Analytics
• Build dashboards on user risk scores, behavioral trends, training completion, and campaign outcomes.
• Provide monthly and quarterly reporting to Cybersecurity leadership, HR, and Compliance teams.
• Define KPIs such as:
o Phish prone percentage (PPP) reduction
o Training completion compliance
o Time to complete metrics
o Campaign coverage & effectiveness
6. Continuous Improvement & Enablement
• Recommend improvements to the security culture based on analytics and awareness gaps.
• Work closely with the Email Security team (Proofpoint TAP/TRAP admins) to ensure intelligence driven SAT alignment.
• Provide workshops, awareness sessions, and targeted executive briefings.

Skills & Experience Required
Technical Skills
• Hands on experience with Proofpoint SAT / PSAT platform administration (preferred).
• Knowledge of Proofpoint Email Security stack (Email Protection, TAP, TRAP) as seen used in enterprise level training enablement documents (Proofpoint Email Security Training Enablement V1.0). [Proofpoint...ement V1.0 | Word]
• Experience running phishing simulation tools (Proofpoint, Cofense, KnowBe4, Microsoft Attack Simulation, etc.).
• Understanding of email authentication technologies (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Familiarity with M365 / Exchange Online / Active Directory user integration.
Cybersecurity & Awareness Skills
• Strong understanding of human centric cyber risks, phishing vectors, social engineering, and awareness concepts.
• Ability to convert technical threats into easy to understand user education content.
Soft Skills
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work with HR, Compliance, IT, SOC, and executive teams.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate metrics into actions.Experience
• 3-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, email security, or user awareness programs.
