Responsibilities:

• Hands-on engineering leader who designs, builds, and operates secure, automated cloud platform capabilities that enable product teams to deliver API-first services at pace and with confidence.
• Balance deep technical work with coaching others to raise the bar on reliability, security, and simplicity. What You'll Do
• Design, build, and operate platform capabilities using Infrastructure-as-Code and modern CI/CD. •
• Embed secure-by-design principles from architecture to runtime. •
• Define and operate against SLOs/SLIs; implement observability, performance tuning, and automation. •
• Enable API-first delivery with reusable patterns and golden paths. •
• Mentor engineers and contribute to communities of practice.

Core Skills Required:

• Proven experience delivering large-scale, fault-tolerant systems; setting SLOs/SLIs.

• Terraform and modern CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness, Jenkins, Spinnaker).

• Containers & orchestration (Kubernetes) and service mesh (e.g., Istio).

• API design & security (REST/OpenAPI, mTLS, authN/Z).

• Scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python. Cloud Expertise (Depth in One, Ready to Cross-Train) Azure: ARM/Bicep, AKS, Application Gateway, API Management, Azure Storage GCP: GKE, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Armor, Istio, Stackdriver, Jenkins, Apigee

Desirable Skills:

• Harness, HashiCorp Vault, Dynatrace, Docker/buildah, NodeJS for API tooling.

• Relevant Azure or GCP certifications.

Mandatory Skills: Google Kubernetes Engine .
