Job Description:

Change Manager (Access Controls & Automation Enablement) 6 TO 10 Yrs -Pune/Hyderabad

Role purpose
Lead and govern the end-to-end change delivery for creating and managing local Admin and Read Only accounts on hardware consoles. You'll ensure changes are planned, approved, documented, validated, and audit-ready-while partnering with engineers to use automation (Python/Ansible) to improve consistency and reduce operational risk.
Key responsibilities (Change Management - primary)
• Own the change lifecycle for account creation and access configuration activities across target environments (initiation, assessment, approvals, implementation, closure).
• Ensure adherence to change management standards, including impact/risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, implementation planning, back-out planning, and post-change validation.
• Plan and coordinate a phased rollout approach, managing scope, sequencing, dependencies, and readiness criteria.
• Maintain high-quality change documentation and evidence to support audit readiness (approvals, test/validation results, implementation records, exception rationale).
• Track execution status, manage exceptions and risks, and provide clear, regular reporting on progress, outcomes, and control adherence.
• Coordinate with ITSOs/SMEs and delivery teams to resolve blockers, including automation-related failures impacting change execution.
• Drive continuous improvement of the change process (templates, runbooks, governance checkpoints, lessons learned).
Key responsibilities (Access controls - delivery oversight)
• Oversee the controlled creation and management of local Admin and Read Only accounts on hardware consoles, ensuring alignment to security and access control standards.
• Ensure validation and verification steps are completed to confirm correct access levels and successful implementation.
Automation (supporting requirement)
• Work with engineering teams to enable and adopt automation for account creation/access configuration (e.g., Python/Ansible), ensuring it's implemented safely within change controls.
• Help define operational guardrails for automation (approvals, logging, evidence capture, exception handling), and support troubleshooting coordination when automation fails.
Required skills and experience
• Strong, demonstrable experience in Change Management within technology/infrastructure environments (planning, governance, approvals, implementation coordination, closure).
• Solid understanding of risk, controls, and audit evidence expectations in regulated environments.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders (ITSOs, SMEs, engineers, operations) and managing delivery to timelines.
• Ability to interpret technical changes well enough to challenge, de-risk, and assure quality (without needing to be the primary implementer).
• Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
Desirable (assets)
• Working familiarity with Python and Ansible concepts (enough to understand automation flow, risks, and failure modes).
• Familiarity with Splunk for log review/triage and Kong Insomnia for API testing/validation.
Success measures
• Changes delivered on time with clear approvals, minimal exceptions, and strong stakeholder confidence.
