Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced ITSM & ITAM Developer with strong ITIL foundations and hands-on development expertise in BMC Helix.
  
  The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and optimizing ITSM and ITAM solutions, including workflows, forms, integrations, and automation using Python and platform-native tools. Experience with complementary asset management and service desk platforms such as Flexera and ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus is highly desirable.

• Design, configure, and customize BMC Helix ITSM & ITAM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, CMDB, Asset Management, and Discovery.
• Develop and modify forms, workflows, business rules, data models, and UI components within BMC Helix Innovation Studio and BMC Helix AR System.
• Designing Agentic AI use cases - prompt designing, API integrations leveraging Helix GPT module
• Implement automation, orchestration, and integrations across ITSM/ITAM processes.
• Build and enhance CMDB data models, reconciliation rules, normalization, and asset lifecycle workflows.
• Develop scripts, utilities, integration services, and automation using Python.
• Create APIs, data exchange procedures, and connectors for external platforms.
• Perform workflow design, transformation mapping, and integration logic for end-to-end process automation.
• Design workflows, integrations (REST/SOAP), and custom apps, requiring skills in scripting, APIs, and deep understanding of ITSM principles and the specific platform.
• Good knowledge Asset Inventory, software licensing and asset management policies.
• Participate on development of use cases and provide Demos to customers

• 5-10 years of experience in ITSM/ITAM development and administration.
• Strong, hands-on experience with BMC Helix (Remedy, Innovation Studio, Smart IT, Digital Workplace).
• Proficient in Python programming for automation, workflow logic, integrations, and data manipulation.
• Strong experience with workflow design, form updates, UI customization, and configuration management.
• In-depth knowledge of ITIL frameworks and practical implementation in enterprise environments.
• Experience with REST/SOAP, API integrations, scripting, data transformation, and system integration architecture.
• Knowledge on emerging agentic AI models, frameworks, and toolkits
• ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 certification strongly preferred
• Exposure to Cloud technologies & services from AWS, Azure, GCP etc.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to multitask and liaise with multiple stakeholder
