Role Overview:

Mandatory Skills: SDET expertise required to meet the demands of complex, evolving software environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Test Automation & Engineering: Spearhead the design, development, and continuous enhancement of robust and scalable automated test frameworks covering UI, API, integration, and regression testing. Develop clean, maintainable, and production-level test code leveraging modern programming languages such as Java or Python. Seamlessly integrate these automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing, thereby enabling rapid feedback loops and accelerated release cycles. Strategically ensure that test automation targets key business workflows and risk areas to maximize impact on product quality.
• Quality Assurance & SDLC Integration: Embed a culture of quality early in the software development life cycle by actively participating in requirements analysis, solution design, and iterative sprint planning. Define comprehensive testing strategies, including but not limited to test data management and environment setup, aligning closely with delivery objectives. Bring a quality-focused perspective during code reviews, advocating for testability and maintainability. Proactively promote defect prevention initiatives rather than solely focusing on defect identification and resolution.
• Agile Delivery Collaboration: Collaborate closely as an integral member of agile delivery squads, working alongside developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met within sprint cycles. Support in-sprint testing activities, track automation progress, and contribute to release readiness assessments. Partner with Delivery Leads and Test Leads to continuously refine sprint velocity and quality outcomes. Drive cross-team initiatives to standardize test best practices and foster reusable automation frameworks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical disciplines, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven programming proficiency with one or more languages such as Java or Python, including hands-on experience writing production-quality test code.
• Strong hands-on experience with established test automation frameworks and tools, including Selenium, REST/API testing utilities, Karma, or equivalents.
• Deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals, agile methodologies, and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and implementing automated quality gates that support continuous integration and delivery.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical thinking, and debugging skills, paired with a detail-oriented and quality-driven mindset.
