Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolve technical escalations and develop technical capability within the Production Specialists.

AS400 JD

7-12 Years of Development experience on core AS/400 technologies: DB2400, CL, RPG III/RPG IV/RPG LE
In-depth knowledge on SQL/400, QUERY/400, and other AS/400 utilities
Excellent understanding of Database Technologies: DDS Physical and Logical files, SQL files, Stored Procedures and Complex SQLs
Experience with Advanced ILE concepts - Procedures, Service programs, Functions
Good knowledge on RPG Upgrade / Migration from Fixed Format to Free Format
Good understanding of Application and Database Performance Best Practices and Tuning
Rich experience in creating Design and Estimation Document needed for a development change proposed by Business Users
Interact with business stake holders to get clarity on queries and prepare Technical Specification Document.
Design and develop applications to the given Specifications using the Technical Specification documentPlease review and let me know if you need any further details.
