Role Purpose

The Solution Architect L1 for Snowflake within Wipro Technologies will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering cutting-edge data solutions that drive business growth and operational efficiency. This role is responsible for creating scalable, secure, and cost-efficient architectural frameworks by leveraging Snowflake technologies, ensuring high standards of client engagement and satisfaction. The candidate will act as a thought leader and trusted advisor, collaborating across multiple teams to help clients achieve their data analytics and AI ambitions. You will be instrumental in translating complex business requirements into agile, innovative, and technical architectures and solutions that enable seamless data transformation.

• Requirement Analysis: Deeply understand and analyze business objectives regarding data storage, processing, and analytical needs.
• Architectural Design: Develop comprehensive architectural solutions focusing on scalability, performance optimization, and security compliance; design data models, schemas, and integration points.
• Migration Strategy: Formulate meticulous data migration plans to Snowflake, minimizing downtime and data loss during transitions.
• Optimization Framework: Enhance data structures and query performance in Snowflake, collaborating with DBAs and engineers.
• Collaboration: Engage with business analysts, data engineers, and project managers to align technical designs with business priorities.
• Governance: Ensure all projects conform to enterprise policy, refine escalation paths, and maintain high-quality standards.
• Review and Certification: Conduct thorough project deliverable reviews to certify completion and quality.

• Lead regular meetings and workshops with business stakeholders to gather, validate, and refine data requirements.
• Design and document detailed data models, schemas, and architecture diagrams reflecting present and future business needs.
• Collaborate closely with development and engineering teams to ensure implementations faithfully follow design specifications and best practices.
• Provide expert guidance on Snowflake functionalities, best usage patterns, and emerging features to optimize platform leverage.
• Evaluate technical options, select appropriate Snowflake configurations, and recommend feature adoption in alignment with project goals.
• Participate actively in code reviews, constructive feedback sessions, and quality assurance to uphold codebase integrity.
• Utilize advanced SQL and SnowSQL skills, including the development of stored procedures and user-defined functions to enable complex data operations.
• Gain exposure and apply knowledge of Snowpark, Cortex, and adjunct technologies to enhance solution capabilities.
• Maintain awareness of related ETL technologies like DBT and Coalesce, BI tools, DevOps processes, and emerging AI/ML/genAI trends to add strategic value.
• Continuously update migration plans and strategies with new Snowflake product releases and architectural innovations.
